About 1.0-1.3 m tall and up to 1.5 m wide, densely branched shrub; leaves 2-4 cm large, elliptic ovate-acuminate; flower buds are dark purple, in the blossoming, they assume a bright purple violet color; slightly fragrant flowers in 5-10 cm large flower panicles appear on the branches, late April to early May; due to the wide spherical growth habit flowers cover the entire surface of the plant – beautiful dwarf lilac for small gardens, terraces, plant containers and little hedges.
