Sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides L.) is a worldwide grown wild fruit with many positive characteristics: Heat and wind resistant, frost hardy and undemanding on the ground. New Sea buckthorn cultivars have been bred with considerable success. There were excellent yielding varieties selected, whose fruits have different ingredients and high decorative value.
